For companies with a concrete financing project
Your project stands. Now it has to withstand review.
You know your company, the capital requirement and the project. For discussions with investors, family offices and institutional counterparties, that information has to be in a form an external counterparty can follow and examine.
Zumsteg Consulting delivers precisely that preparation: the structure, the documentation and the organisation around them.
Requirements
Where a collaboration starts
-
The project is concrete
The project, the financing requirement and the intended use of funds are defined, or can be established reliably from the information available.
-
The commercial basis exists
Company and financial information is available, or can be provided for the work ahead.
-
Management is ready for the process
Contacts are available, open questions can be settled internally, and the necessary decisions and approvals can be made.

Size range
Where a mandate starts to make sense
Mandates are handled in a capitalisation range of roughly CHF 250,000 to CHF 100 million. Below that range, the preparation effort is out of proportion to the result.
The range describes the band in which projects are handled. It says nothing about the availability of capital, about terms, or about whether a financing comes about.
Capitalisation range covered
- Lower bound
- CHF 250,000
- Upper bound
- CHF 100 m
Project start
You do not have to structure the process yourself.
Once the contract is signed we guide you through the intake of the project. You receive a clear overview of the information and documents required, settle open questions in the onboarding call, and are supported while the foundations are prepared.
-
Onboarding
A joint project start
After the contract is signed we begin with an onboarding call and settle the current position, responsibilities, open questions and the next steps.
-
Checklist
Requirements catalogue
You receive a structured requirements catalogue that works through the company, financial, project and supporting documents like a checklist. What is already available and what is still missing stays visible throughout.
-
Information
Company and financial data
Existing company information, financial figures, planning and project material form the starting basis. It does not have to be in investor-ready form already.
-
Alignment
Clear contacts
Together we establish who provides information, who answers questions, and who makes the necessary decisions and approvals.
-
Support
Support with open points
We structure the existing information, identify the gaps, and help bring the missing foundations into order for the work ahead.
-
Approvals
You keep control
External documents, communication content and the recipients to be approached are approved by the client. Commercial decisions and legally binding negotiations also remain with the client.
Foundations
What we actually need
- Company
- Structure, management and the essential company information
- Finances
- Current financial documents, planning and existing obligations
- Project
- Project description, capital requirement, use of funds and current status
- Evidence
- Relevant contracts, orders, letters of intent or other project-related material, where available
Clients receive the full checklist at the project start.
Starting position
Not every document has to be complete from the start.
Every mandate starts from a different point. We first review the information and documents that exist and establish how they relate to one another. Gaps in the information and the documentation are identified and closed as the project progresses. What matters is that the necessary foundations can be provided, or built together.
Boundaries
What the service does not replace
-
External specialist review
Legal, tax and regulatory assessments are carried out by appropriately qualified external specialists.
-
Commercial decisions
Choice of recipients, terms, negotiations and closings remain with the company.
-
Accuracy of content
Responsibility for the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of the information provided remains with the client.
Zumsteg Consulting provides advisory and structuring services. No financial instruments are offered or brokered. Financing solutions are arranged project by project and, where appropriate, together with correspondingly regulated partners.
Common questions
Initial review
Does Zumsteg Consulting raise capital, or prepare the company?
The service is preparation, structuring and documentation on the side of the company seeking financing. Investment decisions, negotiations and closings take place directly between the company and the third parties concerned.
Which documents are actually worked on?
Depending on the mandate: pitch deck, executive summary, key-figure and information overviews, and supporting communication material. The scope is agreed before the work starts.
Who decides on recipients, content and terms?
The client. Recipients, texts and documents intended for release are approved and documented before use.
Who handles legal, tax or regulatory questions?
Appropriately qualified external specialists. Zumsteg Consulting can coordinate their involvement but does not provide these services itself.
What happens after a project submission?
The information forms the basis of an initial internal review. Zumsteg Consulting examines the enquiry and comes back to clarify the next steps.
Initial review
Have your project reviewed first.
If the capital requirement and the project are concrete, an initial review can establish where the preparation stands today and which points should be settled before professional capital discussions.
